vintage ootd: decatur bachelorette shenaningans

My beautiful friend, Deirdre is getting married...today!

On Friday evening, I was fortunate to be part of a fun scavenger-hunt/restaurant-crawl in Decatur for her bachelorette party.  The forecast called for rain, but it ended up being a lovely spring evening.

For such fun, girly festivities, I decided to go with a very feminine ensemble, featuring light pastels to echo the spring season!  I bought this vintage dress at Salvage last spring, and I just love its simplicity - the pleats across the front give it a little visual interest, and the flutter sleeves are so whimsical!  Paired with a vintage coral belt and my new favorite accessory...this vintage cross-stitched handbag!

I can't even begin to tell you all how smitten I am with this bag.  I just can't.

Anyway, speaking of Salvage, Lindsay and I are going to be selling at the Spring 2014 event this coming Saturday, April 12!  It's our first official sale together (d'aww!).   We're both super excited - see you there!
